Element menu
Fill and stroke (Ctrl + U):This option is used to set the fill and stroke attributes for a selected object.
Steps:
1. Draw any object like rectangle box.
2. Select that object.
3. From the Element menu choose fill and stroke or Press Ctrl + U from keyboard then its dialog box will appear from key board.
4. From this dialog box choose fill, stroke style and color opacity and other properties as you need.
5. Click on ok button.
Fill:
This option lets you Fill a pattern (specially black or white color) when drawing a rectangle, ellipse, or polygon. A fill pattern can also be applied to a selected box or oval after drawing.
Steps:
1. From the Element menu choose fill option then choose any patterns as you need
2. Now draw anyone object
Or
1. Draw any object and select it & click on the element menu chooses fill then any patterns.
2. Stroke:
This option is specify the line width, line style and pattern for the rectangle, ellipse, or polygon tool. You can specify other line weights in one-tenth of point increments, up to 800 points.
Steps:
1. From the element menu choose stroke and any width, any style of line or pattern.
2. Then drag any style of object.
Or
1. drag the object the select it then from the element menu choose stroke then any width of line and line style.
2. If you want to increase or decrease the line width the click over the custom option the type the line width as you need.
Frame:
Lets you attach the text and graphics to a frame set attributes for the object.
A. Attach content (Ctrl + F):
This option is used to attach the content in to the frame.
Steps:
1. Draw anyone frame object.
2. Type some text outside from the frame object.
3. Select the text and frame object at once.
4. Click on element menu.
5. Choose frame then click on attach to content option or press Ctrl + F.
B. Separate content (Ctrl + F):
This option is used to separate the content from the selected frame.
Steps:
1. Select the frame where you type content.
2. Click on the element menu Choose frame then separate content or press the Ctrl + F.
C. Frame option (Alt + Ctrl + F):
This option lets you specify alignment and indents of text inside a frame.
Steps:
1. From the Element menu choose frame the frame option or press Alt + Ctrl + F.
2. Then its dialog box will appear. From this dialog box set alignment and margins of the text from the frame.
3. Then drag the frame the start to type the text.
4. If you have already typed the text the make active the frame then follow the same steeps.
D. Change to Frame (Ctrl + Shift +Alt +F):
This option is used to change the any active object into the frame.
Steps;
1. Drag the object and make active it.
2. From the Element menu choose frame option the change to frame or press Ctrl + Shift + Alt +F.
E. Change to graphic (Ctrl + Shift +Alt +F):
This option is used to convert the fame into the object or graphic.
Steps:
1. Select the frame and from the element menu choose frame option the change to graphic or press Ctrl + Shift + Alt + F.
F. Delete content:
This option is use to remove the contents of the selected frame.
Steps:
1. First of all apply attach contents command.
2. Click on the element menu.
3. Choose frame then click on the delete content option.
Arrange
This command is use to set the selected object in front, back etc side of the stacking order.
Bring to front (Ctrl+ Shift +])
This command is used to move the selected object to the front of all over lapping.
Steps:
1. Draw more than two objects and overlap it.
2. Select an object which you want to move front.
3. Click on the element menu Choose arrange then choose bring to front option or press Ctrl +Shift+ ] key from keyboard.
Bring forward (Ctrl +]):
This command is used to move the selected object to the front of any overlapping.
Steps:
1. Draw more than two objects and overlap it.
2. Select an object which you want to move forward.
3. Click on the element menu Choose arrange then choose bring forward option or press Ctrl +] key from keyboard.
Send Backward (Ctrl + [):
This command is used to move the selected object to the back of any object.
Steps:
1. Draw more than two objects and overlap it.
2. Select an object which you want to move backward.
3. Click on the element menu Choose arrange then choose send backward option or press Ctrl+ [ Key from keyboard.
Send to back (Ctrl + Shift + [)
This command is used to move the selected object to the back of all objects.
Steps:
1. Draw more than two objects and overlap it.
2. Select an object which you want to move backward.
3. Click on the element menu Choose arrange then choose send to back option or press Ctrl+ Shift + [ Key from keyboard.
Align object (Ctrl + Shift + E)
You can align objects in relation to each other and then distributes the space between the objects evenly.
To align and distribute objects:
Steps:
1. Draw more than four objects with different color
2. Select the objects you want to align and distribute.
3. Click on element menu.
4. Click on align object option.
5. Select anyone icon for each direction (horizontal or vertical)
6. Click on ok button.
Texts wrap (Ctrl + Alt + E):
Lets you determine how text flows when it encounters (near) a graphic object or this command let’s you determine now text flow when it in counter a graphic object in three part. It can cover the graphic object, wrap around the sides of a rectangle shapes or wrap around the sides of a regular shape.
Steps:
1. Type the long text.
2. Insert any one photo (Ctrl +D).
3. Click on the element menu.
4. Click on text wrap command.
5. Set the icons.
6. Click on ok button.
Group (Ctrl + G):
This option combines two or more selected object in to a group so that the objects are treated as a unit or This command helps us to group our drawing object which acts as a single object.
Steps:
1. Draw more than two objects.
2. Select the all object.
3. Click on element menu.
4. Click on group option or press ctrl + G.
Ungroup (Ctrl + Shift + G):
This command allows us to create separate objects from grouped object.
Steps:
1. First of all group the more than two objects.
2. Click on element menu.
3. Click on ungroup option or press ctrl + shift + G.
Lock (Ctrl + L)
You can lock individual objects in place in order to help preserve the design of your pages through all stages of productions; you can not change the attributes of all locked object. This command is used to lock the object or text in the same place that the text or object can not move.
Steps:
1. Type the text or draw any object.
2. Make active your required text or object which you want to lock.
3. Go to the element menu and choose lock option or press Ctrl + L from keyboard.
Unlock (Ctrl + Alt + L)
Provides the change of does not affect the objects' size or position or this command is used to unlock the locked text, or object.
Steps:
1. Select the lock object.
2. Click on the element menu.
3. Click on lock position and.
4. Click on the unlock command or press Ctrl + Alt + L)
Mask (Ctrl + 6)
Masking is a way of covering of an object so that only a portion of it appears through a shape drawn with rectangle ellipse or polygon tool.
Steps:
1. Click on file menu.
2. Click on place command or press Ctrl + D from keyboard.
3. Choose anyone picture which you like.
4. Click on open button.
5. Now drag your mouse.
6. Draw anyone shape (don’t fill the color)
7. Place that star shape on over the picture.
8. Select that picture and auto shape at once.
9. Press Ctrl + 6 from keyboard.
unmask (Ctrl + Shift + 6)
This command lets you undo a mask by selecting the masking object or unmask the selected object.
Steps:
1. Select the mask object.
2. Click on the element menu.
3. Click on unmask option or press Ctrl + Shift + 6 from keyboard.
Polygon setting:
Lets you change the shape of polygon. You can change the number of sides (up to 100) and the degree to which sides are set to from a star.
Steps:
1. Draw a polygon shape like a star shape.
2. Select that shape.
3. Click on the element menu.
4. Click o polygon setting option.
5. Set polygon number in this dialog box how many polygon corners you want to insert.
6. Click on ok button.
Round corner:
Lets you change the shape of rounded corner you can change the way of the selected rectangle box.
Steps:
1. Draw a rectangle box.
2. Select the rectangle box.
3. Click on the element menu.
4. Click on round corner command.
5. Choose any one round corner which you want to set round corner.
6. Finally click on ok button.Non printing:
This command helps us Designates (represent) a selected object as non-printing so that it does not print.
Steps:
1. Select that object that you don't want to print out.
2. Click on element menu.
3. Click on the non-printing command.
